What's Included

Stage 1 ECU Remap — £299.00 individually

Unlock the true potential of your car with a professional Stage 1 ECU remap from GDM Tuning. Our expert remapping service optimises your engine's fuelling, ignition timing, and boost pressure — delivering noticeable gains in power, torque, and fuel efficiency, all without any hardware modifications.

  • Increased BHP and torque
  • Improved throttle response
  • Better fuel economy
  • Fully reversible on request

Suitable for petrol and diesel cars. Contact us to confirm compatibility with your make and model before booking.

EGR Delete — £200.00 individually

Eliminate EGR-related issues with a professional EGR Delete ECU remap from GDM Tuning. The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system is a common cause of carbon build-up, rough running, and reduced performance over time. Our ECU remap disables EGR operation entirely, helping to restore engine cleanliness and improve throttle response.

  • ECU remapped to fully disable EGR operation
  • Reduces carbon build-up in the intake system
  • Improved throttle response and smoother running
  • Eliminates EGR-related fault codes and warning lights
  • Customer must arrange physical EGR blanking or removal independently

Please note: GDM Tuning provides the ECU remap element of this service only. Any physical blanking or removal of the EGR valve is not included and must be arranged separately by the customer through a suitable mechanic or specialist.

DPF Software Delete — £249.00 individually

Suffering from DPF warning lights, limp mode, or failed regeneration cycles? GDM Tuning reprograms your engine management system to fully disable DPF monitoring and remove all associated fault codes — giving you clean, unrestricted performance.

  • ECU remapped to fully disable DPF monitoring and fault codes
  • Eliminates DPF warning lights and limp mode
  • Removes costly DPF regeneration cycles
  • Improved throttle response and power delivery
  • Customer must arrange physical DPF removal independently

Please note: GDM Tuning provides the ECU remap element of this service only. The physical removal of the DPF from the exhaust system is not included and must be arranged separately by the customer through a suitable exhaust specialist prior to or alongside booking.

⚠️ Important — DPF Physical Requirement (Must Be Completed Before Booking)

Before booking this service, the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) must be either physically removed or gutted (internal filter substrate removed) by a suitable exhaust specialist. GDM Tuning will not carry out the software delete unless this has been completed beforehand. A DPF that has not been physically removed or gutted will cause fault codes and reduced performance after the software delete, and the service will not proceed.

If you are unsure whether your DPF has been removed or gutted, please contact us before placing your order.

Legal Compliance Notice

For off-road and motorsport use only. EGR and DPF deletion renders the vehicle non-compliant with UK road emissions regulations. The vehicle must not be used on public roads following these modifications. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Service Area

This service is currently available to customers in the following postcode areas only: NE, SR, TS, DH, DL, TW. If your postcode does not begin with one of these prefixes, we are unable to offer this service at this time.

Once your order has been placed, a member of our team will be in touch to arrange a convenient fitting appointment. Whilst every effort is made to complete your remap as soon as possible, during busy periods there may be a wait of up to 2 weeks.

Performance Gains & Expectations

Any quoted performance gains are estimated figures only and will vary from vehicle to vehicle depending on the condition, wear and tear of the engine and associated components. The remap will be carried out to achieve the best of each vehicle's individual capabilities, within safe factory parameters.

GDM Tuning cannot be held responsible for unrealistic expectations. Whilst customers may have an idea of how they would like their vehicle to perform, it is not possible to tailor a remap to an exact customer specification. Results will always reflect what the vehicle is safely and mechanically capable of delivering.

Terms & Conditions — Please Read Before Booking

Elective Service & Limitation of Liability

ECU remapping is an elective modification chosen entirely at the customer's discretion. By purchasing this service, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • GDM Tuning accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any damage, failure, or deterioration of the vehicle, its engine, drivetrain, or any associated components arising from or connected to the remapping service.
  • The customer proceeds entirely at their own risk.
  • It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure their vehicle is in a suitable condition to receive a remap prior to booking.
  • GDM Tuning strongly recommends that the vehicle is serviced and mechanically sound before any remapping work is carried out.
  • The customer confirms the vehicle will be used off-road only following EGR and DPF modifications and accepts full legal responsibility for compliance with UK emissions law.
  • GDM Tuning is not responsible for any exhaust or mechanical work carried out by third parties in connection with this service.
  • The customer confirms that the DPF has been physically removed or gutted by an exhaust specialist prior to booking. GDM Tuning accepts no responsibility if the software delete cannot be completed due to the DPF not having been physically removed or gutted beforehand.

No Refund Once Service Completed

Once the ECU remap has been carried out, the full service charge becomes non-refundable, regardless of whether the customer is satisfied with the outcome. By purchasing this service, the customer acknowledges that the remap is an elective modification performed to the best of the vehicle's mechanical ability, and that dissatisfaction with the results does not constitute grounds for a refund. This is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which provides that the right to cancel is lost once a service has been fully performed with the customer's prior agreement.

Vehicle Condition

By completing this purchase, the customer confirms and warrants that their vehicle is in a suitable mechanical condition for remapping. If, upon inspection at the appointment, the vehicle is found to have pre-existing faults or visible issues — including but not limited to boost pipe leaks, air leaks, fault codes, or other mechanical defects — GDM Tuning reserves the right to decline to carry out the remap and retain a £99.00 attendance and assessment fee. The remaining balance will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a £99.00 cancellation fee, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. These terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
