Unlock your van's true potential with a professional Speed Limiter Removal from gdm Tuning. Many manufacturers impose an artificial top speed restriction via the ECU — not because the vehicle can't go faster, but for commercial and regulatory reasons. Our ECU remap removes this restriction, allowing your vehicle to reach its mechanically capable top speed.

For track, closed-road, and off-road use only. Driving above the UK national speed limit on public roads is illegal. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure this modification is only used in a legal and appropriate environment. gdm Tuning accepts no responsibility for how this modification is used following the service.

  • ECU remapped to remove factory-imposed speed limiter
  • Allows the vehicle to reach its mechanically capable top speed
  • No hardware modifications required
  • Ideal for track days and closed-road events
  • Can be combined with a Stage 1 remap for maximum performance
  • Fully reversible on request

Service Area

This service is currently available to customers in the following postcode areas only: NE, SR, TS, DH, DL, TW. If your postcode does not begin with one of these prefixes, we are unable to offer this service at this time.

Once your order has been placed, a member of our team will be in touch to arrange a convenient fitting appointment. Whilst every effort is made to complete your remap as soon as possible, during busy periods there may be a wait of up to 2 weeks.

Performance Gains & Expectations

Any quoted performance gains are estimated figures only and will vary from vehicle to vehicle depending on the condition, wear and tear of the engine and associated components. The remap will be carried out to achieve the best of each vehicle's individual capabilities, within safe factory parameters.

gdm Tuning cannot be held responsible for unrealistic expectations. Whilst customers may have an idea of how they would like their vehicle to perform, it is not possible to tailor a remap to an exact customer specification. Results will always reflect what the vehicle is safely and mechanically capable of delivering.
