GDM Tuning — ECU Remapping Services

Nature of Service GDM Tuning provides professional mobile ECU remapping services for cars and vans. All services are performed at the customer's location within our service area (NE, SR, TS, DH, DL, TW postcodes).

Cancellations Before Service If you cancel your booking before the scheduled appointment, you are entitled to a full refund. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a £99 administration fee to cover travel and scheduling costs.

Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) As a consumer booking online, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. However, by confirming your booking and requesting the service to be carried out within this 14-day period, you acknowledge and agree that your right to cancel is waived once the ECU remap has been performed.

After the Service Has Been Performed Once an ECU remap has been flashed to your vehicle, the service is considered delivered and consumed. Refunds cannot be issued on the basis of a change of mind after the service has been completed. If you have any concerns regarding the outcome of your remap, please contact us within 14 days of the service date and we will review your case individually.

Reversion to Stock Map If you wish to have your ECU returned to the original factory map (e.g., prior to an MOT or vehicle sale), this can be arranged as a separate paid service. Please contact us to discuss options.

Off-Road and Compliance Services Services including DPF Software Delete, EGR Delete, AdBlue Delete, and Speed Limiter Removal are supplied strictly for off-road, track, or closed-road use only. By purchasing these services, you confirm your vehicle will not be used on public roads in a non-compliant state. No refunds will be issued on the basis of a subsequent decision to revert for road-legal or MOT compliance purposes.

Faulty or Incorrect Service Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all services must be performed with reasonable care and skill. If you believe a service was not carried out correctly, please contact us within 30 days and we will investigate and remedy the issue at no cost to you.
