Audi Speed Limiter Removal ECU Remap
Bought an Audi that was previously on a company fleet? Many fleet operators programme their vehicles with a speed limiter well below the national speed limit — sometimes as low as 60mph or even lower — to enforce driver policies and reduce fuel costs. Once that vehicle is in private hands, that restriction serves no purpose and can actually create a hazard on dual carriageways and motorways where you're unable to keep pace with surrounding traffic.
Our Speed Limiter Removal ECU Remap accesses your Audi's ECU and removes the programmed speed cap, restoring the vehicle to its full factory performance envelope.
Why do manufacturers fit speed limiters? Speed limiters on fleet vehicles are typically programmed at the request of operators — not because the vehicle is mechanically incapable of higher speeds. The engine, gearbox, and braking systems are all designed to operate safely beyond a fleet-imposed limit. Removing a fleet-programmed limiter simply returns the vehicle to how it was originally engineered to perform.
⚠️ Important Advisory Speed limiter removal is a legal modification for private vehicles in the UK. However, you remain responsible for driving within the legal speed limits at all times. GDM Tuning strongly advises that you drive responsibly and in accordance with all applicable road traffic legislation following this modification. GDM Tuning accepts no responsibility for how the vehicle is used after the service has been carried out.
