Our Pops & Bangs Remap adds the crackle, pop and bang exhaust note that petrol enthusiasts love. By adjusting ignition timing and fuelling on overrun (when you lift off the throttle), unburnt fuel ignites in the exhaust system — producing those distinctive pops and bangs that turn heads wherever you go.

This service is available for petrol engines only. If your Audi is diesel, this service is not suitable — please see our DPF Delete or EGR Delete services instead.

Service Area

We cover Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Durham and Darlington and surrounding areas within postcode areas NE, SR, TS, DH, DL, TW. Please do not purchase this service if your location falls outside of these areas. If you are unsure whether your postcode is covered, please contact us via WhatsApp before purchasing.

Insurance

You must inform your insurance company that your vehicle has been remapped. Failure to do so may invalidate your policy. This is your responsibility as the vehicle owner.

Important — Please Read Before Purchasing

This is an elective procedure. By purchasing this service, you confirm the following:

• You have sought independent mechanical advice and are satisfied that your vehicle is in good mechanical order prior to the remap being carried out.
• You understand that remapping increases the loads applied to your engine and drivetrain, and that in rare cases this can accelerate the failure of components that were already in a weakened or deteriorated condition. GDM Tuning accepts no responsibility for the failure of any mechanical or electrical components following the remap.
• You understand that all remaps are performed within safe, manufacturer-informed parameters and that unrealistic performance expectations cannot be accommodated.
• You are proceeding with this service of your own free will and accept full responsibility for your vehicle's condition.

Vehicle Condition

GDM Tuning does not carry out a mechanical assessment of your vehicle. We have no means of determining whether your vehicle is in suitable mechanical condition without a third-party inspection. It is strongly recommended that you obtain an independent mechanical inspection and record your vehicle's mileage immediately prior to the remap being carried out. You may choose not to do so, but this is entirely at your own discretion and risk.

Upon arrival, our technician will carry out a brief visual check for any obvious signs of damage or apparent problems. If any obvious issues are identified, GDM Tuning reserves the right to refuse the service. In this event:

• A £99 call-out fee will be retained to cover fair costs incurred.
• Alternatively, you may choose to proceed with the remap regardless, with the understanding that any repairs required are carried out at your own leisure and expense afterwards.

In the event that your vehicle is not performing as expected following the remap, GDM Tuning cannot be held responsible for determining the cause. Any such issues are likely attributable to a pre-existing weakness or fault within the vehicle. Without a documented pre-remap mechanical inspection and recorded mileage, there is no means of establishing whether any fault was present before or after the remap was carried out. GDM Tuning accepts no liability in these circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a £99 cancellation fee.

No-shows and incorrect details: If our technician arrives at the agreed location and you are not present, or if you have provided incorrect details (including an incorrect address), the full purchase price will be retained. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.

Right of Cancellation — Important Notice

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel this order within 14 days without giving a reason, provided the service has not yet commenced. By booking an appointment and agreeing to the service being carried out, you expressly request that the service begins within the cancellation period and acknowledge that your right to cancel will be lost once the service has been fully performed. No refund will be issued once the ECU remap has been carried out.
